Hi everybody! My name is Michelle Davis. I am the proud mother of Diamond who attends the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I am currently an 8th Grade Reading/Language Arts Teacher at Wilkerson Middle School in the Birmingham School District. I am really enjoying the online Library Media Specialist Program at the University of West Alabama. I expect to complete my program in March of 2011. My goal for getting an online degree is to serve as a School Librarian on the elementary school level. I also want to eventually work on National Board Certification in the area of Library Media. I have learned a great deal of information from this class that I will be able to use as a School Librarian. I will use blogs, wikis, instructional software, and prezis in my classroom. I really enjoyed learning how to use the prezi. This will give me an option for presentations in addition to the use of powerpoint.
